Discover Life Chiropractic offers a variety of services to help your journey to better health. After the doctor works with you and finds blocks in your road to recovery he may recommend some of the other services that are offered by Discover Life Chiropractic.

PAPERWORK

As with all offices there is paper work that need to be filled out. After you sign in our staff will greet you and sit down with you to show you what needs to be done. If you would like to come in for your first visit prepared, please click here to print out and bring in your health record with you.

CONSULTATION

After reviewing your paperwork Dr. Hendrickson will meet with you to gather the necessary information to see if he will be able to help you. He will go over your symptoms, review pertinent information and explain chiropractic and how it may be able to help you.

EXAMINATION

During your examination many different tests will be performed including orthopedic, neuro logic, blood pressure, posture and computerized scanning. By gathering this information Dr. Hendrickson will be able to see of chiropractic can help you. (can we insert scan pics here?)

X-RAYS

Once Dr. Hendrickson has determined that chiropractic can help x-rays of the appropriate areas will be taken. These will be analyzed and on the next visit a detailed explanation will be given on what can be done to help you.

REPORT OF FINDINGS VISIT

On the next visit time will be spent reviewing your exam and x-rays and finding out your health care goals. Then a care program will be outlined including chiropractic care, lifestyle changes, and neurorehabilitative exercises.

ADJUSTMENTS

Once you and the doctor have decided to start care the first adjustment will be made. Based on your case information the appropriate technique will be used. Dr.Hendrickson uses manual adjustments, adjusting tables and low force adjusting instruments to provide a wide range of ways to make gentle yet effective corrections to your spine.

HOME CARE

Once care has started you will be actively involved in supporting the changes in your spine during the initial care process. On each visit you will perform mobility and stretching exercises to relax your spine and prepare it for the adjustment. This allows the lowest amount of force to be used to make the necessary corrections to your spine. Then spending 5-10 minutes per day performing stretching at home you can maintain the changes and speed the corrective process up.
